ICRC Doubles Assistance in the Democratic Republic of Congo

(14 Aug 08 - RV) The International Committee of the Red Cross is doubling its assistance to people affected by the internal armed conflict in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, whose living circumstances have been made even worse due to the global food crisis. ICRC spokesperson Anna Schaff told us the situation on the ground remains extremely challenging.
