Zimbabwe/Sudan Dominate EU Summit

(25 July 08 - RV) South African President Thabo Mbeki attended a summit with European Union leaders today in France, meeting with French President Nicolas Sarkozy and European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso.

Gunther Zimmermaker is the editor of the South African Catholic newspaper, Southern Cross.
He says that the crises in Zimbabwe and Sudan have dominated the summit.
