Initiation of the Pauline Year

(28 June 08 - RV) The initiation of the Pauline year has just got underway at the Vespers for the solemnity of saints Peter and Paul, which is taking place at the Basilica of St Paul outside the Walls in Rome. Among those attending is Bartholomew the first, the ecumenical patriarch of the orthodox church. Also in attendance is Anglican Archbishop Drexel Gomez, Primate of the West Indies and Representative of the Archbishop of Canterbury.
