Conference on Human Trafficking

(28 June 08 - RV) The US embassy to the Holy See this week sponsored a one-day conference on the church’s role in combating human slavery worldwide. Ambassader MaryAnn Glendon presented the proceedings of a global network of religious sisters and priests trained to rescue and restore victims of trafficking.
