Malaysian Lawmakers May Defect to Opposition

(02 June 08 - RV) In Malaysia, opposition leaders today said that some government lawmakers who were planning to defect to the opposition might change their minds. The opposition People’s Justice Party, however, is still confident that enough members of Parliament will switch sides by September to topple the government.
