UN Secretary General Heads to Cyclone Stricken Burma
(20 may 08-RV) Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said today he is heading to Myanmar hoping
to meet the country's military leaders to press for speedy relief for the 75 percent
of those affected by Cyclone Nargis who have received no help. The Order of Malta’s
emergency relief service in Myanmar, Malteser International, is caring for 50,000
survivors in the seriously damaged coastal town of Labutta, where cholera is threatening
