Christians Face Violence in India

(19 May 08 - RV) The Church in India says that state governments are not doing enough to help protect Christians from attacks by Hindu extremist. The latest violence occurred late last week when a convent of sisters in Bhopal was attacked. During the attack, about 30 Hindu fundamentalists broke down the doors of the convent in order to ransack it.  The sisters were threatened, and two were injured. We spoke to Fr.
