Archbishop Tomasi Comments on the Global Food Crisis

(29 April 08-RV) The World Food Crisis which has seen rising prices and growing shortages was the focus of a two-day meeting of top UN officials this week in the Swiss capital of Berne.
UN Secretary General Ban-Ki Moon attended the session.We spoke to the Holy See’s Permanent Observer to the United Nations in Geneva, Archbishop Silvano Tomas, about the issues facing the top-level task force set up by the United Nations to tackle the global food crisis.
