Calls Continue for Release of Zimbabwe Election Results

(16 Apr 08 - RV) UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon again called for the speedy release of results from Zimbabwe's presidential election.He also said he would raise the post-election crisis today at a high-level Security Council meeting.Meanwhile, a general strike called by Zimbabwe's opposition to pressure authorities into releasing delayed presidential election results faltered yesterday. We spoke with Brenda Burrell of the Kubatana Trust in Zimbabwe about the reasons for the limited participation in the strike.
