Archbishop Addresses Global Racism
(20 Mar 08 - RV) The United Nations Human Rights Council is currently holding its 7th Session. One topic of discussion has been the implementation of the Durban Declaration on racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia, and related forms of intolerance.
Archbishop Silvano Tomasi, Apostolic Nuncio and Permanent Observer of the Holy See to the United Nations at Geneva spoke yesterday at the meeting. He told us that racism is still a problem in the world today.
