Mourners Attend Funeral for Archbishop Kidnapped in Iraq

(14 March 08-RV) Mourners today attended the funeral mass of Iraqi Archbishop Paulos Faraj Rahho of Mosul a day after his body was found buried near the city. The Chaldean Catholic leader was kidnapped on February 29^th by gunmen, just minutes after performing mass. Pope Benedict the XVI will preside over a sufferage mass for the late Archbishop on March 17^th. Suha Rassamis an Iraq Christian exile who now lives in London and who’s written a book about the Christian community in her homeland. She gave her reaction to the Archbishop’s death to Suzy Hodges.
