Rights Workers Threatened in Chad

(07 Mar 08 - RV) The International Federation of Action by Christians for the Abolition of Torture, or FIACAT, is concerned by the conditions in which human rights advocates in the African nation of Chad are working.


FIACAT says intimidating tactics are being employed against civilians and defenders of human rights working in Chad’s capital, N’Djamena.
