Zimbabweans Hopeful About Upcoming Elections

(6 March 2008-RV) The defection of ZANU-PF member Dumiso Dabengwa this week to join Zimbabwe’s presidential campaign of former finance minister Simba Makoni has rocked the party.
Mr. Dabengwa’s move comes at a time when economic turmoil has left many Zimbabweans struggling with shortages of food, fuel, water and power, as well as the world's highest inflation.
