Pope Sends Message to Salesian Fathers of Don Bosco
(03 Mar 08 - RV)Pope Benedict XVI today sent a messsage to the Salesian Fathers of
Don Bosco, who are currently holding their General Charter here in Rome. In the message
the Pope thanks the Salesians for their work in the areas of education and evangelisation,
saying the task facing the Salesian Congregation is difficult and at the same time
exciting. The great Salesian family is called, said Pope Benedict to bring St. Don
Bosco to the youth of our time. Salesian Fr. Julian Fox works at the Congregation’s
Generalate in Rome. He spoke with us about the special charism of Don Bosco and the
family he founded to bring true joy to society’s most vulnerable members…
