Indian Bishops Urge Government to Move on Rising Anti Christain Sentiment
(28 Feb 08 - RV) During their recent meeting, India’s Catholic bishops held two unscheduled
sessions to study increasing anti-Christian violence in India.
Hindu fundamentalists
attacked Christians in Orissa state during the Christmas season and a plan to deal
with violence and false propaganda against Christians in various parts of the country
has been proposed.
