Life and Reunification Top Korean Bishops Ad Limina Agenda
(29 Nov 07 - RV) Pope Benedict XVI met with a group of Bishops from Korea this Thursday
who are currently on their Ad Liminia visit to the Holy See. During the next few
days they will have a series of meetings with the Holy Father and officials of the
Roman Curia. There are over 5 million Catholics in the Korean Church, the majority
in the South, making it the 4th largest catholic nation in Asia. Despite
this the bishops have expressed their concern over spreading secularism as well as
the challenges of consumerism born of a rapidly developing economy. Emer Mc Carthy
