(1 Aug 07 - RV ) Pope Benedict XVI resumed his weekly appointment with the faithful
this Wednesday, after his three week holiday in Northern Italy. During the audience
the Pope carried on from where he had left off - tracing the lives and works of the
early fathers of the Church. His thoughts also turned to Iraq and to the thousands
of young scouts and guides world wide who were celebrating the 100th anniversary of
the movement's foundation this Wednesday. Lydia O' Kane reports.
