Keeping Promises: The Path Out of Poverty

(4 May 07 - RV) An international delegation of bishops from western countries and developing nations are on a tour to meet with european leaders this week. The bishops are calling on G8 leaders to honour promises to cancel debt, inrease aid and make trade more fair. The group met with Italian Prime Minister Romano Prodi today in the last leg of their journey ahead of the G8 Summit next month in Germany.
