(25 Sept '06 - RV) Sri Lanka's navy today sank 11 Tamil Tiger rebel ships, killing
about 70 separatists. The attacks happened during a five-hour battle off the country's
east coast. It was one of the largest reported clashes since fresh fighting broke
out in July, leaving hundreds dead and threatening to shatter a 2002 ceasefire. We
