Priest Kidnapped in Iraq

(18 Aug 06 - RV) It was confirmed Friday that a Catholic priest was kidnapped in Iraq. Father Saad Sirop Hanna was abducted in Baghdad after he celebrated the Mass for the Feast of the Assumption. The Procurator of the Holy See’s office for the Chaldean Church is Monsignor Philip Najem.
