(14 August 2006 - RV) It is now 25 years since AIDS was recognised, but a vaccine
for HIV remains elusive despite huge advances in drug treatment. The 45 million people
worldwide are infected with the virus are the focus of the 16th International Conference
on HIV/AIDS being held this week in Toronto, Canada. Father Bob Vitillo, Special
Advisor on HIV and AIDS for Caritas Internationalis, is taking part in the summit
and told us why this year's theme is: "Time to Deliver."
