(28 Jul 06 - RV) In their annual security talks today, Asian countries and their security partners will focus on the eruption of fighting in the Middle East and North Korea's nuclear weapons negotiations.
Tensions have been mounting at the asean regional forum in Malaysia since North Korea announced it would not take part in any six party talks. A North Korean spokesman said the us had first to lift financial sanctions before talks about their nuclear program could go ahead.
