Meeting for Lay Movements

(31 May 06 - RV) Pope Benedict XVI sent a message to participants in the 2nd World Meeting of Ecclesial Movements and New Communities, which opened Wednesday.
The 3 day meeting in Rocca di Papa, just south of Rome, has the theme: "the Beauty of Being a Christian and the Joy of Communicating This."
The Pope said the ecclesial movements and communities were part of the living structure of the Church, and that the church thanks them for the mission they carry out across the world.
