Stoning of Priests is Deplored

(31 January 2006 - RV) In India, the Archbishop of Bombay, Cardinal Ivan Dias, today deplored last Sunday's attack on a bishop and priests. Bishop Thomas Dabre and three priests of the Vasai diocese were stoned by about 40 activists as they were inaugurated into a new boarding school for local tribal youth.
