New Director General At Vatican Radio

(5 November 2005 - RV) Pope Benedict has appointed Jesuit Father Federico Lombardi the new director general of Vatican Radio. Father Lombardi succeeds Father Pasquale Borgomeo who the Holy Father thanked for his long and dedicated service to the station. Father Lombardi, who’s a native of the northern Italian city of Turin, has been director of programming here at the radio for the past 15 years.
