New Abbot for Saint Paul's

(23 May 05 - RV) On Monday evening, the Vatican Secretary of State Angelo Sodano will preside at a ceremony of blessing for the new abbot of the Basilica of Saint Paul's Outside-the-Walls.
Father Edmund Power, from the Benedictine community of Douai Abbey in England, was elected abbot of the patriarchal Basilica in April. His election was confirmed by Pope Benedict on May 9th.
Father Power told us about the importance of the Apostle Paul in the Church of Rome.
