Pope Benedict XVI has confirmed all senior Vatican officials in their posts. The heads of the dicasteries of Roman Curia lose their positions furing the period of the ‘Vacant See’.
The Holy Father confirmed the Secretary of State, Cardinal Angelo Sodano, the Substitute Secretary of State, Archbishop Leonardo Sandri, and the Secretary for Relations with States, Archbishop Giovanni Lajolo.
