Noah Houle: To be a pilgrim...

(Vatican Radio) "All roads lead to Rome" seems to sum up well the joy and aspirations of many pilgrims travelling to Rome for the Jubilee of Mercy. Even if their particular “road” is a transatlantic airliner, rather than the Via Aurelia, the excitement of being in Rome is palpable.

This has certainly been the experience for one young pilgrim from the parish of St Pius X in Manchester, New Hampshire. Noah Houle is in his final year of high school, and looking forward to commencing a degree in Business and Technology at Southern New Hampshire University. At such an exciting watershed moment in his life, he is delighted to be marking it with a pilgrimage to the “Eternal City” in this Jubilee of Mercy.

Listen, as he talks to Phil Andrews about his first visit to Rome, and how it has both deepened his faith, and exposed him to new and exciting experiences.
