(Vatican Radio) 'Vatican Weekend' for May 9, 2015 features a report on the weekly general of Pope Francis with pilgrims from across the world, a glance at his words to mark the inauguration of the Vatican Pavilion at the Milan Expo 2015 and a related story focusing on World Fairs from Pius IX to Blessed Paul VI. The final part of the programme shines the spotlight on the message of Pope Francis to the President of the Pontifical Council for Culture, Cardinal Gianfranco Ravasi, on the occasion of the 750th anniversary of the birth of Italian poet Dante Alighieri. This is followed by a conversation with our popular Latin Lover Carmelite Father Reginald Foster on linguistic issues relating to Dante in reference to the writings of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI and Benedict XV.
