(Vatican Radio) So-called Islamic State fighters have withdrawn from most of the district south of Damascus that hosts the Yarmouk Palestinian refugee camp leaving the al-Qaeda affiliated Nusra as the dominant force within the camp.
The camp is currently being contested by various groups including Hamas-linked Aknaf Beit al Maqdis, Nusra and elements of the so-called Islamic State.
