New Year's message by Arch. Charles Bo of Yangon


With New Year eve falling on Wednesday, Pope Francis did not hold his weekly general audience in the Vatican on Dec. 31.  Instead, we bring you a message for the New Year from the Catholic Church of Myanmar, that recently celebrated the 5th centenary of its presence in the country. Voicing the sentiments of Myanmar’s 700,000 Catholics, Archbishop Charles Bo of Yangon delivered a message for our listeners looking at current trends in his country and in the world in the light of the Gospel.  Listen:
