Italy: Questions linger after Greek ferry disaster

(Vatican Radio)  Two days after the fire broke out on the car deck of the Italian-flagged ferry Norman Atlantic, the death toll has risen to ten. While the evacuation of survivors is complete and all the rescued people are being treated in local hospitals, many questions surrounding the disaster still linger. Doubts are arising over the number of people who actually embarked on the vessel and over the number of missing persons. Questions have also been raised about the possible presence of clandestine passengers and concerning the conduct of people on board the craft.
