An accomplice of a gang Kidnapping Christians in Egypt arrested


Following a spat of kidnappings targeted at Coptic Christians in Egypt, an accomplice said to have links with a notorious gang, has been arrested. Egyptian Security officials confirmed in the Sohag governorate,  a city in Egypt that lies on the west bank of the Nile. Arrested is Mina Zaghloul Hanna, who himself comes from a Coptic Christian family.

The website, “Copts United” said today that Mina Zaghloul Hanna was discovered to have links with the gang. He claims that the said gang threatened his life and then assigned him the role of spying on wealthy Coptic individuals with the view to have them kidnapped.

 Investigations are continuing.
