Christians targeted in Kenya attack

(Vatican Radio) Some 36 Christian quarry were killed early Tuesday when a group of gunmen shot them dead near the north Kenyan town of Mandera.

According to reports, the Muslims were separated from the non-Muslims before the attackers shot the Christians dead.

The attack comes one week after 28 people were killed when Islamist militants from the Somalia-based al-Shabab group targeted a bus in the same region.
