'Vatican Weekend' for November 29, 2014

(Vatican Radio)  'Vatican Weekend' for November 29, 2014  shines the spotlight on the Apostolic visit of Pope Francis to Turkey which takes him to Ankara and Istanbul this weekend, a three day trip which began on Friday 28th and ends on Sunday 30th. The half hour programme features reports from Philippa Hitchen who's travelling with the pope and an interview with Jesuit Fr Felix Koerner who tells of  the popes of and their relation to this nation from Roncalli to Francis.The programme ends with our popular 'Latin Lover' Carmelite Father Reginald Foster's account of  the story of Saint Andrew's head from the days of Pius II to Blessed Paul VI.
