A musical meditation for the first Sunday in Advent

(Vatican Radio) Many people find the spiritual quality of Bach's music a great help with their prayer, says Monsignor Philip Whitmore in this musical meditation. Because, he explains, it can help settle us into a recollected frame of mind and invite us to listen to a recording of Bach's cantata "Wachet Auf" as part of our Advent devotion. At the heart of it is a dialogue between Christ and the soul.
