'Vatican Weekend' June 14, 2014: spirituality and culture

(Vatican Radio)  Veronica Scarisbrick presents 'Vatican Weekend' for June 14 2014, a half hour programme which features a report on the weekly general audience of Pope Francis with pilgrims from  across the world as well as his appeals on this occasion. One followed by  our account of  the historic peace gathering in the Vatican together with a related comment  by the Patriarchal Vicar for Hebrew speaking Catholics in Israel, Jesuit Father David Neuhaus.

In the second part of the programme our popular ‘Latin Lover’, Carmelite Father Reginald Foster shares his knowledge of the Letters of Saint Gregory the Great to Saint Augustine of Canterbury and  Monsignor Philip Whitmore his musical expertise with a meditation for  Trinity Sunday.
