'Vatican Weekend'' June 1, 2014

(Vatican Radio) We bring you 'Vatican Weekend' for Sunday June 1, 2014 in which Jill Bevilacqua presents‘There’s More in the Sunday Gospel than Meets the Eye’ to mark the feast of the Ascension of Our Lord. Also in this programme our Professor  of Fine Arts Breda Ennis shines the spotlight on the figure of Saint John the Baptist as depicted by Michelangelo on the walls of the Sistine Chapel and a reflection by Monsignor Peter Fleetwood of the Liverpool Archdiocese in England who tells us how when Jesus ascended to the Father he was really asking his disciples to stand on their own.
