Irish Bishop speaks about Pope Francis’ Holy Land visit


(Vatican Radio)  Irish Bishop Denis Nulty of Kildare and Leighlin  describes Pope Francis’ pilgrimage to the Holy Land as a message of hope and peace for so many who need it so badly in that troubled land.  He spoke to Susy Hodges about the upcoming Papal visit during a recent pilgrimage to the Holy Land by Catholic Bishops.

The Irish Bishop predicts that Pope Francis will not shy away from talking about he actual situation in the Holy Land, saying: “he will speak from his heart”, speak it as it is and that’s what people need to hear.”   The Pope’s presence, he continued, will be “a message of peace and hope for so many (in the Holy Land) who need it so badly.”
