Vatican Museums offering 20 night-time openings between May and October
(Vatican Radio) The Vatican Museums have announced that they are opening their doors
to the public in the late evening every Friday from May 2nd until July
25th and then again from September 5th to October 31st.
It’s the sixth year in the row that the Museums have offered visitors the chance to tour the Museums between the hours of 1900 and 23.00 and it follows the great success of the previous night-time openings. An added bonus for visitors visiting the Museums on Friday evenings during these coming months is a series of cultural events and concerts entitled “Il Bello da Sentire” (Beauty to Hear) . The performances will begin at 20.30, last around an hour and do not incur any extra cost.
