So what can journalists expect? Well, those accredited will be able to make use of workstations, radio studios and commentary booths for those broadcasters who want to send their journalists to the Vatican during this period.

Speaking about the centre the Head of International Relations at Vatican Radio, Giacomo Ghisani said, “it (the Vatican Media Centre) will be covering both the Easter period, the Tridium and the Canonization. The reason for this is that we realized there’s a growing interest the papal events and papal activities and therefore it was useful for everybody to assure facilities for all radios, TV’s and broadcasters in general that will be in Rome for these events.”
