"Diane": Chet Baker and Paul Bley


Tulsa, Oklahoma-born jazz trumpeter, flugelhornist, and vocalist, Chet Baker, has been the subject of two biographies; Chet Baker: His Life And Music by Jeroen de Valk, and Deep In A Dream – The Long Night Of Chet Baker by James Gavin. Also Baker’s “lost memoirs” were published in a book entitled As Though I Had Wings. Today our Chet Baker sides are coming from the album “Diane” which was recorded on February 27th, 1985, in Copenhagen, with Canadian pianist, Paul Bley.
