New Apostolic Nuncio to Sri Lanka

Vatican City, 22 March 2014: Pope Francis has appointed on Saturday, Bishop Pierre Nguyen Van Tot, to be the Apostolic Nuncio to Sri Lanka. According to a Vatican communique, Bishop Pierre is the Titular Archbishop of Rusticiana, and has been the Aapostolic nuncio in Costa Rica.

The 64 year old Nuncio was ordained bishop in 2003. Since then he has been appointed Apostolic nuncio to Central African Republic, Chad and Costa Rica.Source: VR Sedoc
