Pope appoints presidents for the Synod

March 15, 2014: The Holy Father on Saturday has appointed Cardinal André Vingt-Trois, Archbishop of Paris, France, Cardinal Luis Antonio G. Tagle, Archbishop of Manila, Phillipines and Cardinal Raymondo Damasceno Assis, archbishop of Aparecida, Brazil as Presidents Delegate For the Third Extraordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops, which will take place at the Vatican from October 5 to 19, 2014, on the theme ‘The pastoral challenges on the family in the context of evangelization’.
