Pope tweets on importance of Eucharist

February 28, 2014 - In a post on the social media on Friday, Pope Francis reminded Christians of the importance of the Eucharist in life. “The Eucharist is essential for us: it is Christ who wishes to enter our lives and fill us with his grace,” the Pope wrote on his Twitter account @pontifex. In his homilies and talks, the Pope has been insisting not just in receiving the sacrament but also building a personal relationship with the Lord spending much time in adoration and prayers in the presence of the Eucharist and in contemplating on the Word of God.
