Bishops appointed for the United States

(Vatican Radio) Pope Francis on Thursday appointed two bishop in the United States.
He appointed Msgr. Carl Allan Kemme as the bishop of Wichita, Kansas. He had been serving as the Vicar General and Moderator of the Curia for the Diocese of Springfield in Illinois.
He also appointed Msgr. Peter Baldacchino as auxiliary bishop of Miami. The native of Malta has been serving as chancellor for the “Missio sui iuris” of the Turks and Caicos Islands.
