Pope Francis expresses his sympathy for victims of Buenos Aires fire

(Vatican Radio) Pope Francis has sent a message expressing his sympathy for the victims of a fire at a warehouse in Buenos Aires that killed at least 9 people including several firemen. A further 7 people were injured and a number of others are still missing.

In his message sent to the Archbishop of Buenos Aires, Mario Aurelio Poli, the Pope said he was profoundly saddened and was praying to God to give consolation to all those affected by this tragedy. He also spoke of his affection for the dear people of the city whom he said were very much in his thoughts.
