Roberto Murolo

There is the rare category of individuals referred to as “musical institutions” to which Roberto Murolo belonged. Born in Naples on January 19^th, 1912, he showed a strong interest in music from an early age, and became extremely proficient on guitar and vocals. Murolo was virtually a cultural ambassador from Naples to the world, and because of his recordings and performances, Neapolitan song was spread across five other continents.
