Commission of Cardinals overseeing IOR Renewed

Vatican City, 15 January 2014: Pope Francis has renewed, for the next five years, the Commission of Cardinals overseeing the Institute for the Works of Religion (IOR), popularly known as the Vatican Bank, a Vatican press release revealed on Wednesday.

The Commission is currently made up of the following Cardinals: Christoph Schönborn,
Archbishop of Vienna; Thomas Christopher Collins, Archbishop of Toronto, Jean-Louis
Tauran, President of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue; Santos Abril y
Castilló, Archpriest of the Papal Basilica of St Mary Major; Cardinal designate and Secretary of Vatican City sate, Pietro Parolin.
