January 13, 2014 - Pope Francis has scheduled two visits to Rome parishes in January
and February, besides the installation of 19 new cardinals on Feb. 22. Mons. Guido
Marini, the Master of the Pontifical Liturgical Celebrations on Monday released the
schedule of the papal liturgical celebrations, saying on Jan. 19 and Feb. 16 the
Holy Father will visit two parishes of Rome diocese. On Jan. 25, he will preside
over a Vespers service at Rome’s Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls, to conclude
this year’s Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. On Feb. 2, the Pope will mark the
18th World Day for Consecrated Life with Holy Mass in St. Peter’s Basilica.
After creating new cardinals on Feb. 22, he will concelebrate Mass with them the following
day in St. Peter’s Basilica.
